Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA)
Agung Rai Museum of Art is a gallery and a cultural centre. If you want to learn more about Bali’s great Art scene, you should visit this Museum. It offers an overview of the kinds of works produced in Bali. The famous Balinese artist Anak Gede Agung Rai founded the Museum. It’s showcasing the beauty of paintings by famous Balinese and foreign painters from Bali and international artists. The Museum opened in 1996. Since then it displays his collection in two purpose-built gallery buildings – highlights include the beautiful 19th-century Portrait of a Javanese Nobleman and his Wife by Javanese artist Raden Saleh (1807–1880).
In the natural beauty of the garden area with a lotus flower-filled pond, you can also find some statues and wildly grown tropical flowers. ARMA consists of a museum, a performance stage and a restaurant. Types of dances shown are, for instance, Kecak, Legong, Mask, Keris and Barong dance.

Neka Art Museum
The Balinese teacher Suteja Neka opened the Neka Art Museum in 1982. It aims to tell the history of Balinese art and to provide an overview of the development of the different schools and influences. It has a fantastic selection of works from many famous Balinese artists and expats who made Bali their home.
Furthermore, it showcases rising local talent. It has a vast cross-section of modern and ancient pieces. It’s a great mix of pieces, including paintings, jewellery, metalwork, and even textiles.
If you know nothing about Balinese painting, you should visit the Neka Art Museum is the ideal place to get started. If you’re an art stat connoisseur, you will be delighted by the quality and diversity of the exhibits.

Blanco Renaissance Museum
The former home and studio of late Philippine-born maestro, Antonio Blanco is now Museum on a hill and home to a vast array of art including paintings, poetry pieces, collages, and even lithographs. The Museum opened in 1998, the building itself was constructed in 1538.
Blanco loved to create artwork depicting women, for most of them his Balinese wife Ni Ronji posed as a model. Most of his artwork focuses on the beauty of women.
Antonio Blanco died in 1999, but his descendants still run the artist’s home, which can be visited. There is also an onsite restaurant, and you can wander the beautifully manicured gardens and enjoy the looks across jade-coloured rice paddies in Campuhan.
